Hi! I'm what they call an 'IT industry veteran' (though I don't feel as old as that sounds;), with 20+ years design and development experience. My interest in Lean Thinking began when automating Just-In-Time production lines in the 1980s. If you're old enough to remember, this is when Toyota and other Japanese manufacturers were decimating Western industry with revolutionary production management techniques such as JIT. I've been applying the same principles to software development since 2001 (now commonly called Agile development). I spend my time providing coaching and training on how to apply Lean thinking to increase performance, and particularly innovation, in product development and enterprise management.
